ROBOTICS SCHOOL CUP 2010

The Objectives of the Robotic School Cup are :

  • To inculcate the general public an understanding about and appreciation of robotic and technology effects in schools.

  • To educate the general public on the things robots can do that are quite apart from the industrial tasks.

  • To help in the technology development by providing benchmarks for practical robotics teaching and development in schools.

  • To encourage innovation in design among young roboticist and provide them with competitions to display their works.

Besides the first two objectives of inculcating technology culture and educating the general public , The RSC hopes to co-ordinate efforts of all schools and robotic institutions towards practical and OUT OF THE BOX robotics. The events in the RSC provide benchmarks for robotic devices. All schools will then work towards achieving this benchmark while competing with each other. This will then lead to further advancement of robotics and technology in Indonesia. Each year , the events of the RSC are made progressively more challenging with at least one new event or competition. This provides continuity and ensures continuous growth of technology.

The last objective is very important . Only through recognition will students be rewarded for their hard work. What better way to recognize their achievements than to display their works to the general public.
The 2010 Robotic School Cup is scheduled from 15-21 of March 2010. There are 12 competitions as listed below :
