ROBOCUP 2010 : Robo-Rescue Junior Secondary A Super Team CHAMPIONS

The Thai Youth INEX robotics team from the Preparatory School in Thailand Competed in ROBOCUP 2010 which was held in Singapore this JUNE 2010. The won the Championship in the Youth Robo-Rescue Junior Secondary A Super Team Category. Their overall performance also ranks them as third place in the competition as an individual team.

In this category, robots must navigate through a series of obstacles. It can be broken walls, debris, path winding ramps to enter the "alert zone" to find survivors. The survivors are simulated using cans. Robots are to carry these drink cans to a designated "safe area" on a platform. All these must be achieved autonomously by the robots.

ROBOSOCCER Thailand INEX TEAM

The robosoccer team from Thailand also used INEX latest ROBO-128 robot with personal modifications of higher battery power and added solenoid kicker in ROBOCUP 2010. It was indeed a real rewarding experience to have the opportunity to engaged with international world class players in this competition.
